076: HOH / AREP NAME MISMATCH - COMPARE EFTR / DEM1

DESCRIPTION

This alert generates when the bank reports a different name on the account than what is listed on the EFTR screen.

ACES automatically changes the name on the EFTR screen to match the bank’s information. The benefits will be or have been deposited into the bank account.

 

PROCEDURE

  1. Verify the updated name on the EFTR screen in ACES Mainframe is the same as the Head of Household (HOH) on ACES 3G Client Details page.
  • If the name on the EFTR screen is the HOH, no action is required.
  1. If the name on the EFTR screen is not the HOH, send a request for verification as needed.
  2. Delete the EFTR enrollment. See EBT Manual – 10.8 Stopping EFT Issuance.
  3. Send a new DSHS 14-432 - Direct Deposit Enrollment if the client still wants EFT.
  4. Contact EFT HQ to request a reversal if needed. See EBT Manual – 10.6 EFT System Reversals.

 

DISPOSITION

In ACES 3G, to delete an alert place a checkmark next to the alert on the Case Actions page. In ACES Mainframe, enter [Y] in the D field and <TRANSMIT>.
