Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) Trust Commission

The LTSS Trust is now the WA Cares Fund. For more information on this program, visit the WA Cares Fund website.

The Long-Term Services and Supports Trust Act (Trust Act) was enacted in 2019 and created a long-term care insurance benefit for all eligible Washington employees that will cover some of the cost of long-term services and supports.

Member Roster

The Trust Act also created the Long-Term Services and Supports Trust Commission (Commission), which consists of legislators, administering agencies, and stakeholder representatives. The Commission makes recommendations regarding criteria for determining who is a qualified individual, minimum provider qualifications, service payment maximums, actions needed to maintain Trust solvency, and monitoring of agency expenses.
