FamLink is a case management system used by Division of Children, Youth, and Families. The interface from FamLink to ACES identifies foster care clients. Its purpose is to ensure households receive the correct Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Basic Food assistance when children have been removed from an active assistance unit.
CSD receives a two-way data file transfer from FamLink daily.
When ACES finds a match, it generates Alert 190 - ACES CHILD IN FOSTER CARE - CONTACT FOSTER CARE UNIT.
