What are GovDelivery bulletins?

GovDelivery bulletins are a tool Information Technology Solutions (ITS) uses to communicate quickly with users regarding system maintenance, changes, issues, or outages. When a communication is needed, a bulletin is created and sent via email to a list of GovDelivery subscribers.

What topics are available in GovDelivery?

A topic is a specific subject matter users can subscribe to within GovDelivery. The following Information Technology Solutions (ITS) topics are available:

  • ACES
  • Barcode
  • eJAS
  • Washington Connection
  • Other (including Audit Plus, Benefit Verification System (BVS), Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, etc.)

How do I access the Subscriber Preferences page in GovDelivery?

To access the Subscriber Preferences page, take the following steps:

  1. Click here to log in.
  2. On the Economic Services Administration - Email Updates page update the following fields:
  • Subscription Type field - Select Email from the drop down menu.
  • Email address field - Enter the email address used for your GovDelivery topic subscriptions.
  1. Click the SUBMIT button and the Subscriber Preferences page displays.
NOTE: Clicking Cancel displays the Economic Services Administration public website.

What actions can be taken from the Subscriber Preferences page in GovDelivery?

From the Subscriber Preferences page users can:

  • Change the email address associated to all topic subscriptions.
  • Add additional listed topic subscriptions.
  • Add, update, or remove a password.
  • Delete topic subscriptions.
  • Delete their account.

How do I subscribe to GovDelivery bulletins?

To subscribe to a specific bulletin, click the topic type you wish to subscribe to using the corresponding links below:

After clicking one of the above topic links, the Economic Services Administration - Email Updates page displays. To continue subscribing to that topic, take the following steps:

  1. Enter your work email address in the Email Address field.
  2. Click the SUBMIT button and the following confirmation message displays: Success [email address] has been successfully subscribed to [Topic] for Washington State Economic Services Administration.
  3. Click the CLOSE button to exit the page.

You should receive a Subscription Change Confirmation email from ESAWA@public.govdelivery.com.

NOTE: To add additional topics, click the topic link from the above list and repeat steps 1-3.

How do I unsubscribe from GovDelivery bulletins?

There are two ways to unsubscribe from a GovDelivery topic bulletin.  From the Subscriber Preferences page or from clicking Subscription Management from the bottom of a GovDelivery bulletin.

To unsubscribe using the Subscriber Preferences page, take the following steps:

  1. Click here to log in.
  2. On the Economic Services Administration - Email Updates page, enter your work email address in the Email Address field.
  3. Click the SUBMIT button and the following confirmation message displays: Success [email address] has been successfully unsubscribed to [Topic] for Washington State Economic Services Administration.
  4. Click the CLOSE button to exit the page.

You should receive a Subscription Change Confirmation email from ESAWA@public.govdelivery.com.

NOTE: If you wish to delete your entire GovDelivery account - click the hyperlink Delete my account.

To unsubscribe using a GovDelivery bulletin you received, take the following steps:

  1. From the bottom of the GovDelivery bulletin, in the section Subscription Management, click Unsubscribe by Topic.
  2. The Economic Services Administration - Email Updates page displays.  Enter your work email address in the Email Address field.
  3. Click the SUBMIT button and the following confirmation message displays: Success [email address] has been successfully unsubscribed to [Topic] for Washington State Economic Services Administration.
  4. Click the CLOSE button to exit the page.

You should receive a Subscription Change Confirmation email from ESAWA@public.govdelivery.com.

NOTE: If you wish to delete your entire GovDelivery account - click the hyperlink Unsubscribe from all.

When do I receive bulletins from topics I'm subscribed to? 

When system maintenance, changes, issues, or outages occurs, an email bulletin is sent to subscribers of the topics listed in What topics are available in GovDelivery?.
