The GTLSSC requested the development of three standing committees:
- Justice
- Social Services
- Health
DSHS participates on the GTLSSC Social Services Subcommittee and attends the GTLSSC Justice Subcommittee and the GTLSSC Health Subcommittee.
The GTLSSC identified targeted efforts and identified future goals for all three Subcommittees. The items identified for DSHS are:
- Statewide Opioid/Fentanyl Education Campaign
- Expansion of Caregivers.
