Organizational Changes at DSHS

Several organizational changes will take effect beginning May 1. These changes aim to streamline services, improve access, and better support our clients and staff. Some key shifts include the former Developmental Disabilities Administration, Behavioral Health Administration and Aging and Long-Term Support Administration combining core functions to form the new Behavioral Health and Habilitation Administration and the Home and Community Living Administration, along with the realignment of offices such as Fraud and Accountability, Civil Rights, and Community Relations.

You can view the updated organizational chart here.

These changes will roll out gradually, and we are working hard to ensure traffic is redirected appropriately with minimal disruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. Please check back regularly for updates, and we apologize for any inconvenience as we move forward together.
