Out-of-Home Services
Children’s Residential Habilitation services are provided in licensed and certified community-based settings. The service is voluntary and agreed to by the parent/legal guardian and service provider. Parents retain custody and legal responsibility for their child and work in partnership with the residential provider through a child and family engagement plan that supports the child and their individual needs. Out-of-Home Services work with local communities, schools, medical and behavioral health providers and other stakeholders to coordinate services that wrap around the child or youth.
