Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

Statewide Cooperative Agreement with Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

Washington State’s current Statewide Agreement between Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation (TVR) programs, the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), and the Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) provides a general framework for building a cooperative and service-oriented relationship that ensures American Indians and Alaska Natives receive the full scope of Vocational Rehabilitation services possible.

DVR Tribal Liaisons

To learn more information about DVR services in your area, please contact the local DVR Tribal Liaison listed on the current DVR Statewide Tribal Liaison Directory. Liaisons are listed by Name, Office, assigned TVR program or Tribe. Once you have identified the appropriate contact, please contact them via email or phone call as listed in the directory.

Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Programs

TVR programs in Washington State provide services to American Indians and Alaska Natives with disabilities who seek employment services and live in a tribal service area.  DVR works in collaboration with TVR programs to enhance the independence of individuals with disabilities, facilitate access to Vocational Rehabilitation services and increase employment opportunities for customers served by DVR and TVR's.
