Interpreter Rates Explained

ODHH now has two contract types. They have different interpreter rates and booking fees.

The DES contracts have been used for the past several years and use the rate structure our registered interpreters are accustomed to.

The new DSHS contracts are for serving crucial/emergency appointments and are in person only.

Both contracts’ rate structures are based on the number of years of experience since an interpreter’s initial certification date.
