The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) require states to seek public input when submitting an application for renewal or an amended 1915c waiver.

- Update the Adult Day Care service definition to remove the manual reduction of personal care service hours by 30 minutes for each hour of Adult Day Care and add that Adult Day Care services are accounted for in the CARE Assessment as informal support.
- Add a new provider type of Death Doula in the service of Client Support Training & Wellness Education.
The effective date of this waiver amendment will be January 1, 2025.
