Listed below are any “Sole Source” contracts that the Department proposes to enter into. This information is posted pursuant to RCW 39.26.140 and associated policies published by the Department of Enterprise Services.
“Sole Source” means a contractor providing goods or services of such a unique nature or sole availability at the location required that the contractor is clearly and justifiably the only practicable source to provide the goods or services.
Notice of proposed Sole Source contracts will be posted here for no less than 15 days. For copies of proposed contracts, contact the DSHS staff person listed below for the respective contract.

AIDA Healthcare is a database that matches Medicaid clients to potential Medicaid contracted Adult Family Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. ALTSA case managers input client’s information from CARE into the AIDA database, and the information is matched with potential providers who have current vacancies. Use of AIDA to locate potential providers supports quicker transitions to residential settings, especially from acute hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities. |
