​DCS’s automated KIDS phone system is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week in English and Spanish. Our live customer service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in multiple languages. Please note that we are unable to take payments over the phone.

We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our KIDS phone system to serve you better. Beginning on July 18, you'll hear new options to guide you to your specific needs.

What this means for you? You’ll soon be able to:

  • Navigate our menu options faster to connect to what you need.
  • Learn how to get a replacement DCS Card from US Bank.
  • Use verbal responses to navigate our menu instead of just your keypad.

Although we're upgrading our automated phone system, you'll still be able to access the same services as you do now, including:

  • Checking the date and the amount of the last five payments on a case.
  • Stopping payment on a lost or stolen check (for custodial parents).
  • Learning how to enroll in DCS’s debit card program or set up direct deposit.
  • Requesting an application to receive child support.
  • Finding the nearest DCS office.
  • Contacting your case manager.

The KIDS Line also provides information about how to establish parentage and change an existing child support order, as well as how your IRS refund could be affected if you owe back child support.

Some of the above options will require you to enter your case number and social security number.

DCS’s KIDS phone system is down for maintenance on Wednesday nights from 7 to 11 p.m.
