Help Us Improve Communications with Parents Who Are New to Child Support: Take Our Survey

DCS is committed to ensuring parents and caregivers receive helpful and informative guidance when their child support case first opens. If your child support case opened in the past 18 months, we invite you to share your thoughts on how we can improve the information we provide to parents who are new to child support.

This short survey will take about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are anonymous and will not be linked back to your case. The survey will be open through Friday, April 4, 2025. The survey is available in multiple languages. To access your preferred language, click on the dropdown link in the top right corner of the online survey. You can also pick up a printed copy at your nearest DCS office.

Employers: Mandatory Lump Sum Reporting - Effective July 23, 2023 (House Bill 1262), employers are required to report lump sum payments for employees with a garnishment order that includes a payment for arrears. Reporting to the Division of Child Support must be done before the lump sum is paid out to the employee. Please see Withholding from Bonuses and Lump-Sum Payments  for more information and instructions on how to report.

All Division of Child Support offices are open to the public. However, we are unable to accept payments in our offices or over the phone. Please see Paying Child Support to learn how to make a payment. If you have questions, we're always happy to assist you by phone at 800-442-KIDS (5437).
